1 · THE SHOW
ANGRYBOTS is a televised robot-combat game show. You build your robot part by part in the garage and pilot it yourself, live, in 1v1 duels and 2v2 battles with an ally. Nobody places cards and watches here: you drive, you aim, you shove rivals into the pit, and you win (or you learn).
Your first day on staff is Certification: the show's tutorial, guided step by step by S.O.N.I.A., the network's onboarding system.
2 · THE CONTROLS
- Joystick (left half of the screen): moves and turns the robot.
- Button A: your main weapon. Button B: the second weapon or your active module (Turbo, Shield…). The button rings show cooldowns.
- Energy: the bar under your robot. Every shot costs energy and sustained weapons drain it while active; it regenerates on its own. No energy, no party: pace yourself.
Armor is directional: hits to the front hurt less and hits to the back hurt a lot more. Turning in time is defense; flanking is payday.
3 · THE DUEL
- You win by KO (health to zero), by dumping your rival into the pit, or on time-out with the higher health percentage. Technical tie? Sponsored sudden death, traps at a faster tempo.
- Traps are part of the duel: pits, saws, presses, fire, ice and conveyor belts. Most have a rhythm or a sensor — you can bait them and cross safely. Use them before they're used on you.
- Urgent deliveries: every so often a parachute crate drops in. Whoever grabs it gets a temporary bonus (extra damage or a shield). You fight over it, like everything good.
- In 2v2 the team wins: if one falls, their partner can still turn it around. No friendly fire — friendly shoving, yes; this is television.
4 · YOUR ROBOT
Four categories, one build:
- Chassis: health, weight and available slots. From the light Wedge to the Fortress.
- Locomotion: speed, turn rate and traits — Tracks resist shoves, the Air Cushion floats over pits, Rotors fly (until a vertical smash knocks them down).
- Weapons: contact, strike, momentum spinners, projectiles. Each with its own school.
- Modules: passive and active — Bumper, Capacitor, Turbo, Shield…
Weight matters: a heavy build moves slower but resists shoves; a light one flies… in both senses. The garage shows live numbers, and the Test Chamber (TRY button) lets you rehearse a build against a dummy before going on air. And if you want a full duel with no cameras, bot practice is free and doesn't touch your trophies.
5 · THE CORE — YOUR BASE
Every robot is assembled on your Core, the universal base (level 1–13). It doesn't hit, it doesn't block: it governs.
- Level 2 opens the module slot (button B appears).
- Level 5 opens the extra slot: the 2nd module on heavy chassis and the 2nd weapon on the Twin Frame.
- No part can be upgraded past your Core level. Raising the base is what lets you field better parts.
The Core levels up with XP: upgrading parts (each upgrade grants a fixed amount based on the level reached — the bigger the upgrade, the more XP). Winning battles pays gold and trophies — the Core only grows in the workshop.
6 · ARENAS AND PARTS — THE ASSEMBLY LINE
You start with the factory kit (9 parts) and every new arena adds parts to your chest pool. You climb arenas by earning trophies; when you cross a threshold, the show presents the arena and its parts. All 42 parts, arena by arena:

The Collection shows this same map in-game, with parts from future arenas in silhouette. And yes: with tremendous luck a chest can hand you a legendary early — a lottery is a lottery.
7 · THE ECONOMY (IN PLAIN SIGHT)
- Victory chests: each of your first 5 wins of the day earns a chest — the 1st is the Daily Paycheck (it grows with your arena), the 5th the Productivity Bonus. Restocked at 00:00 UTC. In the early arenas chests hold few parts and the flow grows with every arena: that way each new part gets noticed.
- The trophy road: one-time reward bubbles (gold, gems and chests) at trophy milestones. The next one is always peeking at you from the Battle screen.
- Victory loot: every battle you win pays gold (more at higher arenas).
- Production Objectives: 3 daily missions (sweep all three for a chest) plus career achievements paying gems. They live behind the 📋 chip on the Battle screen.
- The free daily stuff: Universal Base Salary™ (daily gold) and courtesy gems, in the Shop, every day.
- Shop packs: part packs bought with in-game gold, with the same public odds as chests.
- Luck audit: chest probabilities are public, with visible bad-luck protection and its counter. The house doesn't hide the cards.
8 · ALLIES AND 2V2
- Your pilot card (👥 panel) carries your public 10-character code: share it as is, by email or with your invite link angry-bots.com/a/YOURCODE, which opens the app directly. And your crew has its own ranking, medals included.
- 2v2 is played as a duo or solo: invite an ally from the panel and queue together, or queue on your own — you'll be paired with another real pilot (never a house contender as your teammate: with no other pilot queuing, the wait has no way out). If no human rival duo shows up, the house fields contenders across the arena.
- 2v2 does not affect trophies — it's the mode for playing with friends without betting the road. Loot and chests still drop, of course.
9 · REPLAYS AND SEASONS
- After every online battle: THE BIG MOMENT (the slow-mo of the finish) and a full shareable replay with a code — anyone with the code watches it re-simulated, tick by tick.
- Every calendar month is a Broadcast Season: at the close, trophies above the ceiling get compressed. What you claimed stays claimed. And the SEASON FINALE pays a closing bonus — gold and gems based on your arena.
- The Sponsorship Contract is each season's pass: 20 milestones you clear by winning battles, with a free track for everyone and a sponsored track.
- The SHOW RATINGS league: the worldwide top 100 by trophies, live, with your rank.
